A Fresh Start: Let’s Set Goals Together for 2025!

What does your Vision Board look like?

Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year! 🎉 How are you feeling about 2025?

I want to start by asking: do you have goals you must achieve this year? Have you planned for them yet? If not, don’t worry—I’d love to share how I plan my own goals. These tips are simple, easy to follow, and will help you feel positive and stress-free.

Before we jump into new goals, let’s reflect on 2024. One powerful question I learned from a recent workshop is this:
“What things do you want to stop doing?”

This really made me think. Sometimes, stopping certain habits is just as important as starting new ones. Take a moment to ask yourself:

  • What habits didn’t help you last year?

  • What can you let go of to make room for something better?

Reflecting on these questions can give you a clear mind and fresh energy for the new year.

Now, let me share three tips I learned from the workshop to set up my goals for 2025:

  1. Understand Motivation with Hormones 🧠
Our brain chemicals, like dopamine and serotonin, influence how motivated we feel. Simple daily habits—like keeping your space organised or taking a break from screens—can improve focus and happiness.

  2. Use a Vision Board ✨
A vision board is a tool to visualise your ideal life. I use pictures, words, or drawings that inspire me and remind me of what I want to achieve. It helps me focus on the bigger picture and feel more connected to my goals.

  3. Set a Quarterly Quest 🗓️
Instead of yearly resolutions, I focus on 3-month goals. These shorter goals feel more achievable. I also check in weekly or even daily to see how I’m progressing. For example, I ask myself:

    • Am I moving closer to my goal?

    • How do I feel about my efforts today?

Finally, I encourage you to take 10 minutes today to think about these questions:

  • What do you want to stop doing this year?

  • What is your dream for the next 10 years?

  • What smaller goals can you achieve in the next 3 months?

Remember, planning doesn’t have to feel stressful. Start small, be flexible, and celebrate each step forward.

Thank you for listening, and I hope you have a wonderful start to 2025! Let’s make this a year of growth, learning, and joy. 🎊
