Summer is over in London

I wanted to share about the Norwegian Petroleum Museum this week, but summer in London is ending so fast! So, let me tell you about some fun things I did in London this summer.

First, the London canal. London has many parks, but I like walking along the canals more. When I walk by the canal, I often see wild animals or people walking their pets. Watching the animals is very relaxing, and sometimes they come close to you, which is very comforting.

Second, the rotating BBQ on the river. This was my first time seeing a small boat where you can barbecue and talk with friends. It’s in East London, near the financial district. This area was developed later than other parts of the city, like the Xinyi District in Taipei. It’s not cheap, but barbecuing with friends during London’s short summer is a great water activity.

Third, London’s Uber boat! Many cities have Uber boats, but I had only taken an Uber taxi in London. Recently, I tried the Uber boat for the first time. It’s a good way to see the city. On the boat, you can buy drinks, both with and without alcohol. It’s a nice way to explore central London.
