Today, I’m sharing my process of drawing a cat!

English: This week, I want to share my process of drawing a cat with you.
我覺得畫貓很有趣，但也需要一些練習。

English: I think drawing cats is fun, but it also requires some practice.
以下是我的四個步驟：

1. 先畫草稿：我會先在普通紙上畫出貓的線條和深淺，仔細觀察貓的體態。
Xiān huà cǎogǎo: wǒ huì xiān zài pǔtōng zhǐ shàng huà chū māo de xiàntiáo hé shēnqiǎn, zǐxì guānchá māo de tǐtài.
First, make a sketch: I start by drawing the cat's lines and shading on regular paper, carefully observing its posture.
2. 練習觀察：草稿幫助我了解貓的姿勢，準備好下一步。
Liànxí guānchá: cǎogǎo bāngzhù wǒ liǎojiě māo de zīshì, zhǔnbèi hǎo xià yī bù.
Practice observation: The sketch helps me understand the cat's posture and prepares me for the next step.
3. 畫在宣紙上：根據草稿，我把貓的形狀畫在宣紙上。
Huà zài xuānzhǐ shàng: gēnjù cǎogǎo, wǒ bǎ māo de xíngzhuàng huà zài xuānzhǐ shàng.
Draw on rice paper: Based on the sketch, I draw the cat’s shape on rice paper.
4. 重複練習：這樣可以讓我的線條更精確，畫出更像真的貓。
Chóngfù liànxí: zhèyàng kěyǐ ràng wǒ de xiàntiáo gèng jīngquè, huà chū gèng xiàng zhēn de māo.
Repeat practice: This helps make my lines more precise, and the cat looks more realistic.

Vocabulary(dānzì):
草稿 (cǎogǎo) - Draft/Sketch
我先畫草稿，幫助觀察細節。
Wǒ xiān huà cǎogǎo, bāngzhù guānchá xìjié.
I first draw a draft to help observe the details.
線條 (xiàntiáo) - Line
線條要畫得輕一點，這樣容易修改。
Xiàntiáo yào huà de qīng yīdiǎn, zhèyàng róngyì xiūgǎi.
The lines should be drawn lightly to make corrections easier.
深淺 (shēnqiǎn) - Shading/Light and Dark
深淺的對比可以讓畫更立體。
Shēnqiǎn de duìbǐ kěyǐ ràng huà gèng lìtǐ.
The contrast in shading can make the drawing more three-dimensional.
宣紙 (xuānzhǐ) - Rice paper
我會把草稿的畫轉到宣紙上。
Wǒ huì bǎ cǎogǎo de huà zhuǎn dào xuānzhǐ shàng.
I transfer the draft drawing to rice paper.
體態 (tǐtài) - Posture/Body shape
觀察貓的體態可以讓畫更生動。
Guānchá māo de tǐtài kěyǐ ràng huà gèng shēngdòng.
Observing the cat’s posture can make the drawing more vivid.
Grammer (yǔ fǎ):
…幫助(bāngzhù)… - Help (someone) with…
草稿幫助我了解貓的姿勢。
Cǎogǎo bāngzhù wǒ liǎojiě māo de zīshì.
The draft helps me understand the cat’s posture.
…讓(ràng)…更(gèng)… - Make (something) more…
觀察體態讓畫更精確。
Guānchá tǐtài ràng huà gèng jīngquè.
Observing the posture makes the drawing more accurate.
